ABOUT US
Our Values
At Elevation Education, we believe learning should rise above traditional limitations. Our values guide every decision we make:
-
Curiosity Over Compliance
We elevate curiosity by encouraging questions, creativity, and deep thinking instead of rigid rule-following. -
Mastery Over Grades
We elevate growth by allowing students to advance through demonstrated understanding, not age or seat time. -
Ownership of Learning
We elevate responsibility by helping students set goals, reflect on progress, and take pride in their work. -
Whole-Child Development
We elevate expectations — academically and behaviorally — developing strong character, work ethic, creativity, and practical life skills. -
Community & Collaboration
We elevate one another through mixed-age learning, mentorship, and shared responsibility within our school family. -
Innovation with Purpose
We elevate education by doing things differently when it better serves students — blending structure with flexibility and intention.

MEET THE TEACHER GUIDE
Megan Gerhardt
I'm Meg, and I've dedicated much of my life to education -- as a student, public school teacher, homeschool mom, and now a microschool founder and guide. My passion for learning drives everything I do. The vision of this community campus is mine, and I am excited to share it with others. My passion is student-led learning. I think education starts with encouraging curiosity and getting our kids excited to learn what they're interested in as well as practical life skills. I have seen first-hand the struggles students, parents, and teachers face in public education. I know that there is a better, more engaging, and less stressful solution to helping and encouraging our children become who they are meant to become.
I am a Colorado State certified educator. I hold a B.S. in elementary education from Utah State University. I have 20 years experience teaching elementary aged students in Utah & Colorado public schools.
I live in the Johnstown/Loveland area with my husband and our three sons. My hobbies include reading, gardening, walking, and anything outside with my family.
If you are looking for an alternative to public education, some extra help, or a place to connect with a homeschooling community give me a call or stop in to meet me and check out our space.
